I simplified Carl Jung’s method when I continued his research through dream interpretation. If you follow this method to interpret dreams, you can understand how harmful your ego is and learn how to eliminate its negative actions.
You believe that your ego protects you-you relate it to your dignity as a human being, as a person who has to be respected. You cannot accept humiliations…
However, your ego is not you. It is only the image you have of yourself, the idea you carry about who you are.
Your ego is not your protector either. On the contrary, it will ruin your life and destroy your personality if you are foolish and try to fulfil its desires.
Why? Because the ego is connected with your anti-conscience, which is totally violent and absurd. The ego is manipulated by the wild anti-conscience that constantly tries to destroy your conscience in order to control your behavior.
The ego has only absurd desires. It only wants to be at the top and posses everything, neglecting all the aspects of reality and completely ignoring the other human beings.
It is the bridge that leads to craziness. The ego prepares the invasion of the wild content into the conscience that it wants to destroy, causing depression, neurosis, hysteria, psychosis, schizophrenia, suicidal tendencies and other horrors.
Please pay attention to this warning because this is what I learned from the wise unconscious that tries to save us from craziness and destruction and helped me overcome schizophrenia through its dream messages. It also helped me cure many neurotic and depressed people, in addition to one friend who was psychotic (over a span of 13 years) and a schizophrenic one (over only 7 years because I knew the details of the case, while I ignored everything in the case of the psychotic patient).
I’ve being working on the psychotherapy of psychosis and schizophrenia since one of my best friends became psychotic and committed suicide after five years of treatment with a psychiatrist. It happened when I had just started studying dream interpretation…and it defined my future path.
Be afraid of your ego and never do what it desires! Always think about everyone involved in any situation and never do anything that may hurt somebody else. Your desires (meaning the desires of your ego) are not more important than all the people who depend on your actions.
